Managing Wildlife Browsing and Grazing Losses

Damage by wildlife can result in significant costs to Tasmania's primary producers. The Department, through the Browsing Animal Management Program (BAMP), assists land managers to develop and implement effective integrated damage control strategies. The Department also contributes to a system of monitoring, regulation and permits to assure the maintenance of sustainable populations of Tasmania's wildlife, while helping with practical solutions where damage occurs.
