A study was recently carried out to determine the distribution of the Chytrid Fungus (Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis) in the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area (TWWHA), and to identify factors associated with its potential spread.

This report was prepared by Matthew Pauza and Michael Driessen, Biodiversity Conservation Branch, Department of Primary Industries and Water, Tasmania in February 2008.
