Plant Quarantine Manual


This manual details the requirements and procedures for importing and exporting plants, plant products and other prescribed matter into and out of Tasmania.

Contents include: introduction; general procedures; conditions of entry for plants and plant products; conditions of entry for other prescribed products (e.g. agricultural machinery); and plant and plant product exports. Also included in the appendices are samples and copies of relevant quarantine forms.

The Notice of Intention to Import Plants and Plant Products form needs to be submitted in advance of import entry to Tasmania. It needs to be accompanied by relevant import certification as specified in the Plant Quarantine Manual. Enquiries should be directed to the telephone numbers and/or email address below.
