Integrated Pest Management in the Vineyard

Tasmania is free from important vine pests. There are a number of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) options for effective control of pests and diseases in the vineyard. Requirement number 10 of the Plant Quarantine Manual regulates the import of grapevine material into Tasmania. Please help keep Tasmania free from devastating vine diseases when importing grapes or vines.

Powdery mildew is the easiest disease to control with good spray coverage timed well but there are new developments.
