Acknowledgments

The work on Tasmanian reptiles presented in these web pages has been compiled by herpetologist Alex Dudley from his own observations and many other sources, most of which are included in the bibliography.

Photographs are copyright of the photographers, who include Alex Dudley, Hans Wapstra and Sally Bryant.

Steve Johnson compiled the interactive head shield diagrams from information and photographs supplied by Alex Dudley.

Ian Davies of the Tasmanian Reptile Park at Wings Farm, Gunns Plains, supplied unusually coloured specimens of Tiger snake for photographic purposes as well as information on breeding in Tiger snakes, She-oak skinks and Bluetongue lizards.

Roy Swain provided information on, and access to, recent publications through the University of Tasmania.

Other people who contributed by supplying unpublished information include Kathryn Redburn, Raymond Brereton, Erik Wapstra and Tasmanian Herpetological Society members Maria and Richard Novy. Their help is gratefully acknowledged and appreciated.
