The purpose of the Code of Practice is to protect the integrity of the Tasmanian wool clip by reducing the risk of contamination from the exotic breeds of sheep prescribed in Schedule 1, Part 2 of the Animal Farming Regulations 2005 . The Code provides practices for the farming of the prescribed exotic sheep breeds.
