Take a Kid Fishing Dates

Fishcare logoTake a Kid Fishing (TAKF) is a great family day out with plenty to see and do. Some fishing gear is available for loan if you can't bring your own - and Entry is FREE!

Fishcare volunteers will be running a series of fun fishing clinics throughout the day. You’ll be able to learn lots about basic fishing techniques, knot tying, fish biology and the best way to handle caught fish. There are no prizes for catching fish, but if you know a few simple rules, including fish size limits, you might win a fantastic prize.

  • CSIRO Wharf, Hobart, Sunday 29 November 2009
