Marine Farms - Fishing AdviceAccess for recreational fishing in marine farming areas is restricted. Most marine farming leases provide the leaseholder with exclusive right of occupation of the area and the seabed.
The corners of marine farming lease areas are marked with navigation markers. The industry is progressively moving to using the international IALA standard special marks on the corners of their lease areas (as illustrated). These markers are coloured yellow and may have lights and a cross.
